(Naturally, I got some emails asking why the hell I was writing about it.)

And unless you're reading this from outside America... you probably didn't even hear about it, other than that post.  (I checked the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and the usual boadcast news websites.  Maybe I missed something.  But I couldn't find even a single word.)
