... or might possibly even quote (at least while it's up) something you posted weeks ago with only one hand gripping reality, thanks to various medications.

It's a bit like going to a Springsteen concert and having Bruce do a song you just played in your garage.

GBT, if you're still popping in: I started reading your stuff as a teenager during the Carter years, back when (for just one example of how good the work really was) the idea of a full-time professional self-identified spinmeister appearing openly on TV was, in fact, an outlandish if visionary bit of humor.

These days, the way reality so enjoys quoting satire, you half-expect to see Fox News reporting that poor Irish children are highly nutritious.

Anyhow, my public thanks for decades of daily inspiration.
